Well, the more I do stuff with Chespin, the more he's becoming one of my favorite pokemon. :3
Anyway, it's been brought to my attention plenty of times that the last chespin sprite I made had a humongous head, so I resprited it (finally).
I figured it would be fun to make another animation as well, so I did that as well.
I decided to do a very detailed animation with this one. I animated literally every part of him. Believe it or not, but the four spikes on his hood are animated independently, his toes move somewhat, and I even gave him a cartooney stretchiness when he jumps. :b
It took a lot longer than my other animations, but I think it looks a lot better, and it looks really official looking and kind of amazing in my eyes.
I really want some hard criticism on this, as I want to know if I'm just delusional when I think my sprites are great, or if this one actually turned out really good. :b

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThe animation could be better because as it moves all the pixels get messed up. I also think that the green is too bright. You also made the little shiny bit too big and everything looks fake because of that. It also seems that the head is too big. Also it isn't very striking because it is simply just a chespin bouncing up and down slightly. Also the new starters are getting kinda old so the originality isn't that great. The same with impact. Also the pixels as mentioned first impacts the technique. This is my sincerest opinion and this could use a bit more work. But overall it isn't that bad. ~ Kathryn
